Q: What are the most popular uses for CCTV cameras?

A: The front door camera is quite popular, as a convenience and a security measure. Next most popular would coverage of the backyard and/or pool areas, followed by shoreline/dock areas, baby rooms, playrooms, and long driveways.

Q: How can I view my cameras on the internet?

A: Either the cameras need to be web-enabled or you need a video server or network DVR. Once connected to the internet, these items can then be viewed and controlled from a standard web browser.

Q: Can my cameras "see" in the dark?

A: Only certain cameras can do this. The cameras need to have either very high sensitivity in low-light conditions, or they are combined with infrared light emitters to illuminate an area without using visible light.
