Q: What will J.J. Vanderson do with my computers?

A: We will connect your computer equipment, establish a broadband or dial-up internet connection using your supplied modem, set up a wired or wireless network, set up a new or existing email account, assess your computers performance and recommend products or services that will enhance your computer/network experience. We do not.

Q: What equipment is needed to create a network?

A: You will need internet service, a network switch or router, wireless adapters for each computer (if its a wireless network), and possibly access points in parts of the home to reduce "cold" spots.

Q: Why a wired network-- why not wireless?

A: Wireless networks are getting better, and will continue to do so, but today the wired network is still more reliable, faster and more secure.
